Bank Sohar’s strategy to extend its delivery of banking excellence recently saw the official Khasab Branch opening as the bank’s first base of operations in the Governorate of Musandam. Becoming the 31st branch in Bank Sohar’s growing network, the fully-fledged facility was inaugurated on 10th October under the auspices of H.E Dr. Humaid Abdullah Al Harthi, Wali of Khasab, and in attendance of Mr. Ahmed Al Musalmi, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Khalil Salim Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer and other members of the Bank management team who welcomed the honoured dignitaries, and customers from across the governorate.
Upon arrival, guests received a warm welcoming with traditional Omani hospitality of Halwa and Omani coffee being served while a traditional music band performed onsite adding more to the celebratory atmosphere. The official inauguration commenced with a speech by Mr. Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer, outlining the Bank’s achievements, network, performance, products and services. Guest of Honor - H.E. Humaid Abdullah Al Harthi then marked the official opening by a commemorative ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the branch.
