Extending its community engagement in the holy month of Ramadan, Bank Sohar recently sponsored the Oman Society of Engineers’ Iftar gathering at Sundus Rotana in Seeb. Representing the Bank and attending the Iftar gathering was Hamed Ahmed Al Kalbani, Senior Assistant Products and Sales Implementation, Wholesale Banking.

At the event, Oman Society of Engineers’ CEO Eng. Hamoud Bin Salim Al Sunaidi presented a token of appreciation to the Bank for sponsoring the event. Eng. Hamoud also addressed the audience and highlighted industry professionals as key contributors to the industrial renaissance and urban development of communities nationwide. The Society outlined the importance of engineering as a service to society, which is now observing a shift in the interests of young Omani talent as they join the ranks amidst the sector’s promotion of professional prospects in engineering.
