Bank Sohar celebrated eleven years of successful operations within the Sultanate, reaching a new milestone in its goals to provide customers with innovative and superior banking solutions. The landmark moment was celebrated at the Bank’s head office in Muscat in the presence of Executive Management and staff.
Acting CEO, Mr. Sasi Kumar addressed the gathering of attendees highlighting Bank Sohar’s achievements in the 11 years. Commenting on the event, he said, “Bank Sohar emerged onto Oman’s financial scene with a clear vision; and that is to be a one stop financial super mall offering products and services across various segments, each with a unique set of propositions. Eleven years on, we can, with pride and certainty, say that we have delivered on our promise and on our vision. We have come this far as a result of our core values of integrity, customer focus, team work, passion, respect and alacrity. This has been our drive in the past and it will continue to be our motivation, going forward.”
The event took place in the Bank’s headquarters and started with a welcome speech followed by a speech by Acting CEO Mr. Sasi Kumar to mark the special occasion. In his speech, Mr. Sasi Kumar stressed on the Bank’s commitment on customer centricity which is truly reflected in its ‘Year of You’ slogan, then commended the bank’s performance and the drive of its staff to continue the excellence journey. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Mr. Sasi Kumar added, “Bank Sohar is indeed fortunate to have a taskforce of dedicated, efficient, committed and diligent employees. We would like to thank them for making our eleventh anniversary a milestone event. We also thank our loyal customers who have been with us on our journey right from inception; they have provided us with constant motivation and the drive to deliver superior and innovative products and services. We look forward to their continued patronage and support as we forge ahead into the next chapter.”
