Sohar Islamic – Bank Sohar’s Islamic Banking window recently announced the soft opening of a new branch located in Wilayat Barka marking its sixth branch. The fully functional Barka Branch will offer customers a range of Shari’ah compliant products and services as well as easy access to the branch. In commemoration of the soft opening, the Bank presented a special gift to the first customer who opened an account at the branch.

Sohar Islamic’s new branch is manned by qualified staff offering customers with the entire range of Shari’ah-compliant Islamic Banking products and services from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00am till 2:00pm. In line with Sohar Islamic’s other branches, the Barka Branch will also offer customers full-fledged ATM and CDM facilities. The new branch will initially operate in a ‘soft mode’ until its official opening which is expected to take place soon.
