Delivering on its promise of creating more winning journeys and providing more value to customers, Sohar International is set to conduct its half-year draws under its popular Prize Scheme 2021.  Everyone is invited to the virtual event which will be streamed live on the Bank’s official Instagram page - @sohar_intl – at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 13. While the event will witness four lucky winners win from a total cash prize of RO 200,000, as part of the half-year draws, there are prizes to be won for those who tune in to the virtual event. The Bank engages with its live audience giving them an opportunity to win cash prizes during the live draws ceremony by answering simple questions about the bank.  The RO 200,000 half-year draws’ prize money will be distributed equally among two customers from the General segment and two customers from the Wealth Management segment; each receiving RO 50,000.

To be eligible in the Half-Yearly draws, customer from the general segment will need to maintain a minimum monthly average balance of OMR 100. As for the Wealth Management segment, customers will need to maintain an average monthly balance of OMR 40,000.

The 2021 Prize Scheme offers a total cash prizes worth over OMR 2.25 million to be rewarded to more than 1,400 customers. Moreover, believing in the necessity to educate and spread awareness on the importance of savings among the minors and young generation, Sohar International has created a dedicated Savings Draw for them and doubled the minors winning opportunities reaffirming the same. Catering to all segment types and increasing their benefits, this year Scheme offers customers more draws, more chances, and more winners with the introduction of the newly added Salary Account Draws and beefing up the previous categories with more overall value in cash prizes.
