Concluding Sohar | Prize Scheme 2019 that encouraged a prudent savings culture in Oman, Sohar International recently conducted the 2019 Year End Grand Draws during a Press Conference where four winners were rewarded from a grand total of OMR 400,000 split across the General and Wealth Management segments. The press conference was held at W Muscat in the presence of the members of media and bank’s executive management team.
The press conference started with an opening note from the bank followed by a welcoming speech by Mr Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer at Sohar International who highlighted the importance of the Prize Scheme to the society as well as benefits of saving. Following his speech, the conference then witnessed the 4 draws to reveal the 2 winners of the General Category where H. H. H. Al Abri from Ibri branch and Y. F. S. Al Rasbi from Al Khuwair branch won OMR 100,000 each and A. A. M. Al Tarifi from Al Khoudh branch and Ali Mohammed Al Balushi from Shinas branch from the Wealth Management category where each one of them also won OMR 100,000. Post the winner announcements, the Bank revealed the upcoming Sohar | Prize Scheme 2020.
Highlighting the importance of saving as a key activity in driving success, Mr Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer at Sohar International said, “Sohar | Prize Scheme 2019 was developed to encourage prudent savings habits amongst our customers while providing them with more chances to ‘win’. Rewarding healthy habits of savings does not only help individual customers to realize their dreams but has also proven positive impact on the country’s socioeconomic level.”
