The launch of Sohar|First takes the bank one step further towards providing an ecosystem of products and services to fulfill the banking and non-banking requirements of customers benefitting them as well as the nation at large. Through Sohar|First, clients will receive preferential and priority service at the bank’s branches as well as a bouquet of value added services contributing towards their specific lifestyle. The proposition will aim to offer discounts and promotions on shopping, dining and more at Sohar International partnered merchants, complementary lounge access with Lounge Key and exclusive access to deals and benefits. Sohar First customers will also enjoy complimentary credit card free for the first year with complementary lounge access, eligibility to enter exclusive prize draws, priority service fast track in branches and free travel insurance.

Similar to any account type and or proposition, there are some primary requirements for the individual to be eligible for the Sohar|First Proposition. In order to become a Sohar|First customer, the individual should assign a minimum salary transfer of RO 1,000, or hold a deposit of over RO 10,000. The special card type as well as the account type will ensure that customers under this segment receive the priority treatment wherever applicable and possible.
